New Adventures

Well, I am here in California now with my family, and so far we love it! I thought I would do a quick update for all my potential clients! I have been a little MIA the last year or so on this blog, due to moving/2 year old/ pregnancy/newborn/moving again/vacations, etc. It has been SO fun! I've still been doing hair throughout the chaos though- just no pictures to show for it! Anyway, my prices havent changed and are listed on the right side of this page. I wont be increasing my prices while in CA, despite the cost of living difference from my previous homes. I feel like keeping my prices low for now is the best thing to do and seeing as how I work from home and not in a salon, the reduced rate can compensate for the lack of a "spa" setting.  :) I am pretty flexible in my appointment scheduling, but prefer to do evenings, so that my kidlets are in bed, and so are yours so that you can take a night off and relax and chat. Depending on what we are doing with your hair, you can plan on anywhere from an hour to 2.5 hours. Anyway, I'm excited to be out here in the Bay Area and would love the opportunity to style for you! OH ME oh my

Hey Ladies and Gents! So here's a little update:

Michigan has been good to us, but we still miss KC and all of our lovely friends out there. My husband, Daniel, was just extended on his project until the end of June 2010. So its lookin like our chances of coming back to KC any time soon are slim. :/ After this extention though, if he is officially rolled off the project, we could very well be looking at apartments in the KC area, and could be back for another year! Starting Fall of 2011 we hope to be in grad school for Daniel's MBA, but until then, its all sort of up in the air! I dont know how many of you lovely ladies still check this blog, but I thought I would give you some sort of an update, regardless of me really not knowing anything for sure yet :o) Sigh. You'd think I'd be used to living on the seat of my pants, but I dont think I am. We are, however, trying to live in the moment and enjoy ourselves.. which we are. We love that Daniel doesnt have to travel as much and we can have somewhat of a "normal" family life together. Anyway, Thanks for your patience, and I will let YOU know when I know anything at all!

Update

Hey there all my little beauties! I just wanted to send out a note to all of those who haven't heard yet about my upcoming week. My family and I are moving out to Michigan for approximately 6 months for my husbands job. It is only temporary, and not even a "true-move." We will be moving to a furnished apartment, again only temporary, so I just need to get our necessities packed up and we are heading out this Saturday, August 8th. So I just wanted to give ya'll a heads-up that I will be back, so please don't forget me! :o) I love you all and I love doing your hair, so please keep checking back to my site for details of our homecoming! It should be around January-ish, but I will keep everything updated on my blog. Anyway, thanks for being such cuties and I will be back soon!!

Michelle and Ali

Michelle decided to donate a whopping 11 inches of hair to Locks of Love and I was lucky enough to cut it! Although her hair was gorgeous and long, it is now short and fabulous! Thanks Michelle for being patient with my OCD-ness, but I think we got a great finished product! You are one hot mamma! :o)

Ali is one of my good friends out here in KC. She decided she wanted to go short too! This was so fun for me and I think its great for sum~sum~summer time! What a little hottie.. I could shave Ali's head and she would STILL be a babe. (Although I would never do that) :o)

And I have to also add that I stole these pics from her blog due to my lack of picture taking at the time!~Thanks Ali!!

So I have really been wanting to be better at taking pictures of all my clients!! If I haven't taken a picture of you PLEASE dont be offended!! Its honestly just because I forget! I kick myself every time I forget and you have already left! Boo! I might just have to take my camera to church and get a bunch of ya there :o) Anyway, I will try and do better, I promise!!
